This is the new project that I blogged about last week. We installed everything last evening and it gave a completely new look to the room. The clients had never used drapes before and hadn’t really considered using them until I suggested that it would be a good way to enhance their new furniture and look. The drapes are pinch pleated and lined. The valances are lined in a coordinating grey-beige and banded in grey. They wanted to bring out just a little more of the red from the pattern on the chair so we went with a textured red fabric for the lumbar pillow in the chair. I gave it more accent by adding a band of the stripe from the drapes and four black covered buttons. I also made two 18″ square pillows from the stripe trimmed in a cream, grey, & black loop fringe. These are being used on their new grey textured sofa. I think the whole room has come together nicely and most importantly the clients are very pleased.
